Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Pet the Dog ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect through this website and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Newsletter (when available): if you subscribe via the form on this site, we collect your email address through our email provider (Beehiiv) to send you updates about our games. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• Analytics: none. We don't use any analytics or tracking tools on this website.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages. Fonts are served directly from our site, not from third parties.
• Videos: trailers are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): the player only loads after you click play, while the preview image is served by YouTube's image servers. Once the video loads, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your email with third parties beyond the email service provider needed to send the newsletter itself.

Cookies

We don't use cookies. The only thing this site stores is your light/dark mode preference, saved locally in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to us.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at petthedogofficial@gmail.com.
